#ILoveAPGD Social Media Contest

Don’t miss the opportunity to win great prizes in the Audubon Park Garden District’s free social media contest.
Sunday February 11 through March 2, 2018 you can share your love for the Audubon Park Garden District on social media using #ILoveAPGD throughout the month of February for a chance to win prizes, including tickets to the upcoming APGD Garden Tour.

 

Once per week a theme will be announced on APGD’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. Then just snap pics in the APGD area (from Leu Gardens to East End Market and everything in between) that follow the theme and used the hashtag, #ILoveAPGD, and you’re automatically entered to win prizes.

Everyone is encouraged to be creative and have fun with this I Love APGD contest.

Contest Terms & Conditions: I love APGD is a three-week social media contest from February 11 – March 2, 2018. Each Sunday of the week throughout the three-week promotion, a theme will be presented via Facebook and Instagram. To be entered to win, entries must include a photo that aligns with the theme, is taken in the APGD area and uses the hashtag #ILoveAPGD.

One entry will be randomly selected on Fridays of each week of the promotion, totaling three winners over the three-week promotion. Randomly selected winners will receive a pair of passes to our upcoming APGD Garden Tour. No purchase necessary and not exchangeable for cash. Winner’s photo will be reposted by the Garden District and will be notified via direct message on respective social media channel. Winners are required to respond to direct message within 48 hours or the offer will be revoked and a new winner will be randomly selected.

Winners can choose to have passes mailed or picked up in person within one week of initial contact at The Lovely Boutique Market at 2906 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL 32803. If mailed, winners must provide mailing address. If picked up in person, winner must present proof of identification to retrieve the passes. No copyrighted materials may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material.

NOTE: If you need more hashtags in addition to #alocalthing and #ILoveAPGD, we are also using #lovelocal and #livesustainably so those are options, too.

Audubon Park Garden District wins Great American Main Street Award

Our very own Audubon Park Garden District has received a 2016 Great American Main Street Award, a national honor that recognizes the country’s best examples of comprehensive neighborhood commercial district revitalization.

APDG was recognized for reinventing itself from a neighborhood that historically served the nearby military base into a corridor flourishing with nationally-acclaimed small businesses, an epicenter for Orlando’s farm-to-table movement and its hosting of Zombietoberfest and Bastille Day that bring thousands of visitors to the district looking to partake in these unique, free events, which truly are #alocalthing.
