Main Streets Restaurant Week

About Main Streets Restaurant Week

Orlando Main Streets is hosting its second Main Streets Restaurant Week to promote our culinary Main Street members. Restaurant Week encourages restaurant members to offer a select prix fixe menu with established price points of $5, $10, $20 and $30 depending upon lunch or dinner, and the restaurant’s normal price point. No tickets or passes are required. Food lovers may simply dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like.

About Orlando Main Streets

Recognizing the important role neighborhood commercial districts play in the overall health of the City’s neighborhoods, in 2008 Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council created the Orlando Main Streets program. With annual financial support, technical assistance and intensive training from the City of Orlando, the Orlando Main Street Districts create, define and strengthen our commercial districts in the City.

Each District creates an individual work plan envisioned and implemented by a nonprofit Board of Directors. The Orlando Main Streets serve as the economic backbone for the City’s existing neighborhoods.

Orlando Main Street Districts receive financial and technical assistance and intensive training in the Main Street Four Point approach from Orlando Main Streets and the National Main Street Center. In turn, each Main Street organization hires a full time Executive Director, raises matching funds, incorporates its organization and implements its programs according to an annual work plan.
